BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Salty’s BBQ broke ground on a new location in northwest Bakersfield.
The popular barbecue restaurant held a ceremony on Monday for its new location on Coffee Road near Downing Road, near Raising Cane’s and Buffalo Wild Wings.
The location is set to include a drive-thru and a heated and cooled outdoor patio.
“This will be the first (location) that we’ve been able to design from the conception of it to now to design,” Salty’s BBQ owner Jeff Salters said.
No exact date for opening was given, but the new location is expected to open later this summer.
